Job Summary :
Responsible for the installation and repair of GPS Fleet Tracking Units / Telematics Equipment in customer vehicles of all types.
Major Responsibilities :
- Managing the GPS units’ installations / Removals / Transfers and ensuring proper functionality of the unit by coordinating with the customer support agent.
- Making sure that the vehicle is left in the same condition it was at the handover.
- Make sure to use only the tools that are approved by the technical supervisor.
- Ensuring that the tools and all the company assets are kept in good working condition.
- Always report to the technical supervisor in case of any damage or loss to any tool or asset.
- SamTech uniform cleanness has to be maintained.
- Preparing a detailed report after each customer visit and submitting it to the customer support agent on the same day through Email.
- Managing the hardware tests and reporting the observations to the technical supervisor.
- Always notifying the customer in case of any probability of reaching late.
- Any other work-related task that may arise as per the HoD instructions.
Skills :
Knowledge of Auto Electric works / Vehicle Electrification.Basic Communication skills, both verbal & written.Strong dedication to customer service.Ability to deliver the task within the deadlines.Ability to remain professional, confident, and patient at all times.Must be a team player.Must be able to work effectively and contribute value with limited direction.Minimum Educational Qualification :
Diploma in Electronics or equivalentMinimum Experience :
2 Years in GPS units installation or a similar domain
