QA Senior Engineer, Dubai

Please note : This role is only open to candidates with proven business experience in the European and / or UK markets. Applicants must also be either already based in the UAE or open to relocating to Dubai.

Our client, a fast-growing tech company in Dubai is looking for a QA Senior Engineer (hand-on) to lead quality assurance across their mobile and web platforms. You'll shape the testing strategy, manage the QA function, and ensure that product releases aren't just fast but flawless.

What you'll be doing :

• Leading QA across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Designing and executing comprehensive end-to-end test plans.
• Owning test automation frame works building and maintaining them with tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress.
• Managing Lambda Testing environments for cross-browser / device testing.
• Running hands-on test cycles and reporting on software quality.
• Collaborating with developers and product managers to set and uphold quality standards.
• Identifying process improvements and championing better, smarter testing.
• Mentoring junior QA engineers and fostering a high-performance team.
• Representing QA in sprint planning, retros, and standups.

What you'll need :

Bonus points for : ISTQB certification.

Familiarity with mobile store submissions.

Scripting in Python, JavaScript, or Java.

Experience testing in cloud environments and API testing with Postman or REST Assured.

Agile fluency (Scrum, Kanban).
