2nd Officer Offshore Installation Vessels

THE POSITION

Then Van Oord could offer you an exciting opportunity! We are looking for 2nd Officers for our crew department, preferably with experience on Offshore vessels.

YOUR IMPACT

As a 2nd Officer, you play a crucial role in the operational processes on board and contribute to the vessel's productivity. Your responsibilities include :

• Supporting the Chief Officer with all navigational duties and acting as Safety Officer to ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations.
• Optimizing the production and continuity of the vessel’s operations.
• Ensuring that all environmental regulations and safety equipment are maintained to Van Oord’s high standards.
• Consulting daily with the Master and Chief Officer to improve production methods.
• Training and coaching 3rd Officers and trainees to transfer knowledge effectively.
• Maintaining the ship's administration in line with Van Oord standards.
