About Lunar Rails Trading Division

We are pioneering real-world blockchain payment solutions with flagship offerings. This role is fundamental to scale one of these offerings.

  • Lunar Pay – A cross-border payment network connecting the UAE to Africa (with an initial focus on South Africa and Nigeria). We enable instant, transparent, and cost-effective settlements in local African currencies for leading UAE import sectors, such as gold, jewelry, citrus, and meats—bypassing the inefficiencies of SWIFT.

We are building scalable, compliant, and high-value products to bridge the gap between blockchain finance and traditional industries.

Role Overview

We are seeking a relentlessly driven, results-focused Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition, relationship management, and market expansion for our Lunar Rails Trading Division. You will be fully accountable for building and scaling a pipeline of high-value clients in import / export sectors, ensuring product-market fit, and generating measurable revenue growth.

This role demands creative outreach , strategic thinking , and unwavering execution . If you are not prepared to hustle, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence – Identify and deeply understand market needs across import / export sectors with the UAE.
  • Outreach Strategy & Execution – Develop and execute innovative outreach methods to reach decision-makers, penetrate target accounts, and secure partnerships.
  • Pipeline Development – Build, maintain, and convert a strong pipeline of import / export businesses.
  • Solution Mastery – Attain expert knowledge of our product capabilities, compliance frameworks, and operational processes to confidently position solutions to clients.
  • End-to-End BD Ownership – Drive the entire cycle : prospecting, qualifying, pitching, closing deals, onboarding, and establishing repeat business.
  • Product Market Fit & Scaling – Secure early clients, refine offerings based on feedback, and establish scalable inbound client acquisition channels.
  • Revenue Accountability – Deliver on aggressive revenue targets and KPIs, reporting results with transparency.
  • Relationship Building – Establish trust and long-term partnerships with industry stakeholders and influencers.
  • Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience : Minimum 3+ years in business development , ideally in payments, import / export, or fintech.
  • Blockchain Knowledge : Understanding of crypto payments, digital assets, and blockchain infrastructure.
  • Proven Track Record : Demonstrated history of building pipelines, closing deals, and exceeding sales / revenue targets.
  • Industry Network : Existing relationships in UAE’s import sectors highly desirable.
  • Self-Starter : Works independently, takes ownership, and thrives in high-accountability environments, focus on growing business lines to generate revenue.
  • Creative Hustler : Finds unconventional ways to reach decision-makers and secure deals.
  • Solution-Oriented : Excels in problem-solving for clients and overcoming operational challenges.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
