Safety / EHS Engineer – Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) & Substation – UAE (L1)

We are looking for experienced Safety / EHS Engineers for high-voltage transmission line and substation projects in the UAE . Candidates with prior approvals or direct experience with DEWA, TRANSCO, or TAQA will be given preference.

Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Joining: Within 30–60 Days (Immediate Joiners Preferred)
Certification: NEBOSH Certified (Mandatory)

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) with regular college is must

NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory)

5–10 years of proven experience in EHS roles

Hands-on experience in Overhead Transmission Lines (220kV / 400kV / 765kV) and/or Substation Projects

Prior DEWA / TRANSCO / TAQA approval or work experience is Must

Valid passport with at least 9 months validity

Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans

Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations

Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments

Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies

Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance
