الوصف الوظيفيOversee the safe unloading, inspection, and storage of incoming materials. Issue materials to construction teams based on requisitions, ensuring timely availability. Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering to prevent shortages. Maintain detailed logs of material transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns. Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management. Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and track deliveries. Ensure materials are stored in a safe, organized manner, adhering to safety regulations. Monitor the condition of stored items and report any damages or discrepancies. Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly storage area. Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to align material needs with project timelines. Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors regarding orders and deliveries. Provide support during project planning phases by advising on material requirements. Proven experience as a Storekeeper in the construction industry or similar field. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely. Familiarity with inventory management software or manual tracking systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of construction materials and equipment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management or logistics are a plus.
