ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Job Summary

The Estimation Engineer will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for UPS projects, ensuring technical and commercial alignment with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Estimation

• Analyze specifications and drawings
• Maintain cost databases and templates

Technical Evaluation

• Ensure UPS solutions meet customer and industry standards
• Provide technical input during proposals

Cost Analysis

• Evaluate materials, labor, equipment, and overheads
• Identify cost-saving and value engineering options

Vendor Coordination

• Source competitive pricing from suppliers
• Compare quotes for reliability and cost-effectiveness

Proposal Preparation

• Create detailed proposals with technical and financial breakdowns
• Support sales team in client presentations

Risk Assessment

• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on UPS technologies and estimation practices
• Improve estimation tools and processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in UPS or power systems estimation
• Strong knowledge of UPS design and standards
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Zoho
• Fluent in English and Malayalam (written and spoken)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in UPS or cost estimation
• Experience with large-scale UPS projects
• Familiarity with project management tools
