PIPING LAYOUT ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Piping Layout Engineer to join our engineering team for major onshore / offshore projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of piping layouts, equipment layouts, and 3D modeling to ensure functional, safe, and cost-effective design solutions in compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and client standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop and review piping and equipment layout drawings using 2D and 3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, SP3D, E3D).
• Create and check : General arrangement (GA) drawings, Plot plans and equipment layouts, Piping isometrics, Nozzle orientation drawings, Tie-in and interface layouts
• Ensure proper routing of piping systems, with attention to accessibility, maintenance, stress, and safety considerations.
• Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, structural, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines to optimize plant layout.
• Support in 3D model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%) and implement review comments.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards (e.g., ADNOC, Aramco), and international design codes (ASME, API, etc.).
• Identify and resolve clashes in piping routing using 3D model clash detection tools.
• Prepare MTO (Material Take-Offs) and support procurement with layout-related inputs.
• Participate in field / site visits as needed for tie-in verification and constructability review.
