Librarian job in Musaffah UAE for unskilled workers

We are looking for a Librarian to join our Musaffah branch. We offer a competitive salary of 1000 AED/month along with other benefits such as health insurance and paid leave.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize our library collection so that customers can easily find the books they need. This includes cataloging new acquisitions, stocking shelves, gathering feedback from customers, and helping them locate relevant titles.
• Help customers check out books using various software programs and maintain accurate records of all library transactions.
• Conduct research activities related to the library materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or another related field.
• Strong computer skills and experience using digital cataloging systems such as Koha or Evergreen.
• Previous experience working in a library environment is beneficial but not required.
• Fluency in English is essential for this role.
