Cost Engineer

Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates for projects including material labor and equipment costs Monitor project budgets and expenses ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle Analyze cost variations and recommend corrective actions Prepare financial reports cash flow forecasts and cost tracking documents Collaborate with project managers engineers and procurement teams on budgeting and cost planning Assist in contract evaluation bid preparation and vendor negotiations Maintain accurate records of project costs and updates Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and project specifications Requirements Bachelor s degree in Engineering Quantity Surveying or related field Proven experience as a Cost Engineer Quantity Surveyor or similar role Strong knowledge of project cost estimation budgeting and cost control techniques Proficiency in MS Excel project management and cost control software Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills Ability to work in a fastpaced project environment
