Primary Responsibilities :

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients, including histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments to determine the best course of action
• Design and implement individualized surgical treatment plans tailored to patient needs and specific cancer types
• Carry out complex surgical procedures following the latest standards of care
• Monitor preoperative and postoperative patient conditions, ensuring optimal recovery and addressing any surgical complications
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including medical oncologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive cancer care
• Participate in tumor board discussions and clinical meetings to evaluate and manage complex cases
• Engage in continuous professional development and remain informed about advancements in surgical techniques and oncology practices
• Educate patients and their families about surgical options, outcomes, and potential risks associated with procedures
