Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)
Build and optimize SQL-based data models for reporting, analytics, and advanced use cases
Develop Power BI dashboards and semantic models, ensuring high performance, scalability, and usability
Implement Python-based data processing, automation, and analytical workflows
Translate business requirements into end-to-end analytical solutions
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across datasets
Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver impactful insights
Optimize query performance and costs in cloud-based data platforms
Support and enhance SAP‑integrated analytics, including data extraction and modeling (SAP BODS knowledge is a plus)
Document solutions, best practices, and technical designs

What You Will Bring

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably in the banking industry

Strong expertise in Databricks, including Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and notebooks

Advanced SQL skills (data modeling, performance tuning, complex queries)

Hands‑on Power BI experience, including DAX measures, data modeling, performance optimization, and row‑level security (RLS)

Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics, with expertise in Databricks, ADF, Python, SQL, ETL, and Power BI

Experience working with large‑scale datasets in cloud environments

Strong understanding of ETL / ELT concepts and data warehousing principles
