Senior Simulator Engineer

• Perform daily and periodic preventive and curative maintenance for all simulators as described in the maintenance manual.
• Perform readiness and fly out checks on daily basis prior to the start of training sessions.
• Testing and rectifying reported malfunctions and faulty equipment/systems.
• Applying knowledge of functional operation of the system to diagnose the cause of malfunctions.
• Overseeing the documentation management of all maintenance activities and maintaining the records and technical logs in a proper manner for licensing requirements.
• Perform software and hardware configuration control.
• Run and pass QTG’s (Qualification Test Guide) as per QTG management control. Prepare simulator for certification renewal.
• Perform and comply with quality system procedures to ensure effective implementation of the QMS (Quality Management System).
• Carry out visual calibration, update NAV database and perform back up of all computer software.
• Provide guidance for the Simulator Training Instructors on the functionality of the Instructors Station as and when required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required by the management.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering and at least 10 years work experience in related field.
• Knowledge of Simulator Types : – A320, B737, B747.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Able to interpret schematics and other technical documents pertaining to aviation.
• Advanced knowledge of computer mainframe/architecture, networking, operating systems (Windows NT/XP, UNIX, Linux, AIX), and software languages (C, C++, FORTRAN). Ability to write code and make software changes.
• Must possess superior troubleshooting skills, in depth knowledge on use of electronic test equipment, and advanced software diagnostic utilities.
• Proficiency in English Language and presentation skills.
• Should have own commute arrangement.
