Job Description :

Pier Seven Aviation FZC is a world class aviation training facility, operating various types of Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs)”, and conducting initial type rating courses for airlines and private pilots, currently having an exciting new position for a Senior Simulator Engineer to join in our Sharjah office.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily and periodic preventive and curative maintenance for all simulators as described in the maintenance manual.
• Perform readiness and fly out checks on daily basis prior to the start of training sessions.
• Testing and rectifying reported malfunctions and faulty equipment / systems.
• Applying knowledge of functional operation of the system to diagnose the cause of malfunctions.
• Overseeing the documentation management of all maintenance activities and maintaining the records and technical logs in a proper manner for licensing requirements.
• Perform software and hardware configuration control.
• Run and pass QTG’s (Qualification Test Guide) as per QTG management control. Prepare simulator for certification renewal.
• Perform and comply with quality system procedures to ensure effective implementation of the QMS (Quality Management System).
• Carry out visual calibration, update NAV database and perform back up of all computer software.
• Provide guidance for the Simulator Training Instructors on the functionality of the Instructors Station as and when required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required by the management.
