Here\'s your chance to step into the role of Events Manager at Global Village . In this position, you\'ll take on key responsibilities that include :
Key Responsibilities
- Events Manager will act as a project lead, managing all aspects of planning, designing and delivery of the projects he / she handle, and ensuring successful events and activations.
- Create Project Plans for the events and activations of Global Village Season 29 and working with the team to ensure best delivery of the projects.
- Managing allocation of manpower involved in events, such as concerts, on-site activations, external activations, and events. Ensuring all are well allocated for their specific jobs.
- Liaising between Global Village and external agencies for meeting timelines and ensuring smooth flow of events and activations.
- Evaluating all projects and activations in order to ensure compliance with highest Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards in accordance to Global Village\'s policies.
- Applying for all external permissions needed for the operations of the various events and activations.
- Supervising external commercial activations, including but not limited to commercial shooting, brand activations as product placements, and ensuring flow is as per the agreed contracts with Global Village.
- Prepare the Events calendar for GV Seasons and execute the plan.
- Deliver all season events and ensure site visits with suppliers before awarding the RFP.
- Delivery of Season Concerts, including proposing the artists\' names and dates for the Season according to the budget set.
About you
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials :Graduate in Events Management / Marketing Business Management or related field.A minimum 5 years of relevant and demonstrated experience with proven track record in events, concert and on-ground activations.In-depth knowledge of events and concerts and good network with event production companies and music production houses.Managing external agencies and suppliers.Managing artists and celebrities.Capability to draft briefs and conducting briefing sessions.Project management skills.Willing to adapt to Global Village seasonal operations hours and very flexible in working hours.About the Benefits
