Job Description :

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their prestigious university in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the institution, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial stability and growth of the university.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement the university's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the institution's overall goals and objectives.
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and auditing.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the university's executive team and board of directors.
• Lead financial planning and analysis to support long-term financial sustainability and growth.
• Ensure robust financial controls and risk management practices are in place and adhered to.
• Oversee investment strategies, manage cash flow, and optimize the university's financial resources.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to develop and manage budgets.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Drive financial initiatives to support the university's mission and enhance operational efficiency.
