Position : Electrical Engineer — Permanent role — Salary : AED
Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in civil construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical systems and their integration with civil construction projects, as well as experience working in the airport industry. The role will involve overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for our airport projects, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop electrical design plans for airport construction projects
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess electrical requirements and identify potential issues
- Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate installation of electrical systems
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that may arise during construction
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers
- Conduct tests and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the civil construction industryExperience working on airport construction projects is highly desirableStrong knowledge of electrical systems and their integration with civil constructionFamiliarity with relevant codes and regulations in the UAEExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in using relevant software and tools for electrical design and analysis#J-18808-Ljbffr
