Seeking a long-term Middle Full-Stack Engineer for route optimization software, requiring PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and WordPress skills. Offers flexible hours and remote work.

Description

A software development company is looking for a great, long-term Middle Full-Stack Engineer. The company’s creating the world’s most used route sequencing and optimization software for small businesses and enterprises. With over 35,000 customers, the company helps last mile businesses save tremendous amounts of money, time, and labor. The company offers exposure to a variety of industries and technologies, room to grow as a professional, and an opportunity to work with phenomenal coworkers.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop backend solutions using Laravel and PHP (following MVC, OOP, SOLID principles).
2. Build client-side applications using Vue.js.
3. Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
4. Implement designs from Figma and integrate UI solutions into projects.
5. Integrate external APIs and optimize application performance.
6. Maintain technical documentation and participate in agile processes.

Required skills and experience:

1. 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 3 years working with Laravel.
2. Solid knowledge of Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
3. Strong proficiency in WordPress development (custom themes/plugins).
4. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Git, including advanced Git skills and setting up CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
5. Experience working with Figma and converting design mockups into code.
6. Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
7. Willingness to work within the European time zone.

As a plus:

1. Understanding of web server operations (configuration, optimization, basic administration).
2. Quick learner with the ability to rapidly adopt new technologies.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
