We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing library services, including cataloging, circulation, and reference services.

The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. He/She must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices of library science and be familiar with current trends in library technology. This position requires superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the library’s collection
• Assist patrons in locating materials
• Perform bookkeeping tasks such as maintaining records of circulation
• Provide reference services to patrons
• Keep current on new acquisitions
• Train new staff members
• Create marketing materials for library events
• Provide technical support for computers and other electronic equipment in the library

Qualifications
