To install, configure and maintain all IT Security related systems / equipment and provide support to resolve problems encountered in order to ensure that the security of IT systems are maintained at all times.

Overview

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation / configuration of all IT Security related systems / equipment, as per IT policies and procedures, ensuring that the systems are secured against all unauthorized access.
  • Attend to all security related logs ensuring timely completion to facilitate smooth and secure business operations. Follow proper escalation process internally and coordinate with external vendors for immediate resolution, wherever necessary.
  • Perform Security Operations including perimeter firewall management (Palo Alto), F5 Networks, Web Gateway Firewall, Forcepoint, malware and cybersecurity.
  • Carry out AIX and Windows installation and maintenance.
  • Perform deployment and service business management via ManageEngine, ServiceNow and BMC Remedy.
  • Evaluate the correct product for the Service delivery Management within the multiple businesses of the group.
  • Assist IT security team in identifying key infrastructure security risks through the implementation of regular vulnerability audits and assessments.
  • Maintain track of system alerts and take necessary action to ensure that security of IT systems is always maintained.
  • Ensure all logs and records required for IT Infrastructure Security are maintained.
  • Ensure change management process is followed for all security related operations.

Job Requirements

Education

Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.

Certifications

  • CISSP, GIAC certification.
  • Firewall, Application Delivery Controller, IPS, Database and Email / Web gateway security certification preferred.

    • Experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in security and surveillance system.
  • General IT, Microsoft, AIX, UNIX Security platform experience.
  • Fortinet, Palo Alto or any other perimeter firewall experience is mandatory.
  • Proxy Servers, DNS, Active Directory and worked in a Security environment.
  • Deep Discovery, Bit9 and F5 Network.
  • Strong network security / SSL concepts are mandatory.
  • Security Operations including perimeter firewall management (Palo Alto), F5 Networks, Web Gateway Firewall, Forcepoint, malware and cyber security.

    • Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong foundational knowledge of networking and compute workloads is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in managing firewalls such as Palo Alto and Fortinet, including policy configuration, NAT, VPN setup, threat prevention, and high availability.
  • Proficiency in administering web proxies like Forcepoint and Zscaler, including URL filtering, SSL inspection, authentication integration, and log analysis.

    • The candidate must demonstrate a problem-solving mindset, capable of rapid triage, clear communication, emergency change execution, and thorough documentation to ensure operational continuity and security resilience across critical infrastructure.
