We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with prior experience in bullion trading. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, bullion market dynamics, and statutory compliance. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations specific to bullion and precious metals trading.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts using Tally / ERP software.
Record all bullion purchase / sale transactions, including physical and digital trades.
Track inventory of gold, silver, and other precious metals.
Banking & Treasury :
Manage daily bank reconciliations and fund flows.
Handle payments to suppliers and receipts from customers.
Manage loans, overdrafts, and gold metal loans (GML).
Taxation & Compliance :
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with income tax and bullion-specific regulatory norms.
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
MIS & Reporting :
Generate daily / monthly profit & loss reports, position statements, and stock reports.
Prepare cost analysis and reconcile trade discrepancies.
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
Audit & Controls :
Assist in internal and external audits.
Implement internal financial controls and monitor adherence.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
2–2years of experience(IN UAE) in accounting, preferably in a bullion or commodities trading company.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, MS Excel).
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
