Structural Modeler

We are looking for a Structural Modeler for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 14 months

Location: Dubai, UAE

Qualification and Experience required:

• Diploma in Architectural, Civil & Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical fields.
• 2+ years in BIM modelling (C&S, Reinforcement, or Multidisciplinary projects).

Knowledge

• UAE authority requirements and IATA/ICAO aviation standards.
• Familiarity with QA/QC and project documentation standards.

Activities:

Modelling & Documentation

• Create and update BIM models based on contract drawings and site information.
• Ensure quality, integrity, and parameters of BIM models for quantification and 4D simulation.
• Generate shop drawings, construction documentation, and fabrication deliverables.
• Identify discrepancies and raise them to BIM coordinators or engineers.
• Apply AI-assisted clash detection and parametric modeling for efficiency.

Coordination & Support

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for model integration.
• Support BIM coordinators during design and construction phases.
• Track model versions, ensure alignment with QA/QC and project standards.
• Innovation & Digitalization
• Contribute to digital twin development for structural assets.
• Support use of automation workflows (Dynamo, Rhino.Inside.Revit, Grasshopper).
• Apply AI-enhanced tools to optimize repetitive tasks and improve model accuracy.

Software Skills (2025 Updated)

• Revit (advanced proficiency).
• Bentley OpenBuilding Designer, Dynamo.
• AI-based modeling and automation platforms.
• AutoCAD, Navisworks, and digital twin solutions.

Soft Skills

• Accuracy, attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability.
