About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Greek Restaurant, the Waiter is responsible for providing exceptional guests’ dining experiences. The role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience meets our standards. The Waiter reports to the F&B Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Greek menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to confidently inform and assist guests.
• Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service and attention to dietary needs or special requests.
• Provide personalised, attentive service throughout the dining experience to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards.
• Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and follow billing and cashiering procedures accurately.
• Set and clear tables to maintain a clean, welcoming dining space, and manage multiple tables while maintaining service quality.
• Support upselling efforts, collaborate across outlets, and create memorable guest experiences aligned with MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences.
