Switchgear Design Engineer

Requirements 1 Minimum 2 years of electrical switchgear design experience in UAE such as LV MDB MCC CP CB PLC PANEL and others UAE Experience was mandatory 2 Knowledgeable of programming VFD MFM PFC PLC Protection relays 3 Aware of International design practices standards such as IEC BS ANSI 4 Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other engineering design software packages 5 Worked on projects with local utility companies ADDC DEWA FEWA etc and well versed with their specifications and systems 6 Extensive knowledge on computer skills Microsoft office AutoCAD other software 7 Candidates who are having strong switchgear design experience only apply 7 Ability to implement Quality Management System 8 Good spoken and written English is essential 9 Willing to relocate 10 Candidate who come for direct interview only can apply a Bare overall responsibility of assigned job b Coordinate with Project department on all correspondences related to project design activity c Study Work order PO LOI data sheets specification and raise any technical clarification scope clarification and get clarified Make sure that all data is available for execution of design d Ensure the schedules of document submission are met e Ensure the design process of job are as per specification and local authorities regulation f Provide inputs to Draughtsman for preparing the technical drawings submittal and materials g Review the documents prepared by Draughtsman and bare responsibility for correctness of document h Release of procurement drawings as required i Receives design change requests and offer suitable solution to planning production with consent of Design manager j Ensure proper asbuilt drawings Educational Qualification 1 Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a major University Professional Engineer registration may be required
