Logistics & Expediting Supervisor

Our client is a leading provider of operations and maintenance services for power generation and water desalination plants across the Middle East and internationally.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a proactive Logistics & Expediting Supervisor to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers to site, ensuring on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and cost-efficient logistics. The role requires strong vendor management, SAP knowledge, and the ability to liaise across internal teams to guarantee seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Logistics & Expediting : Monitor supplier deliveries, expedite shipments, and implement contingency plans to avoid disruption to operations.
• Documentation Management : Prepare and process all shipping and clearance documents (POs, Bills of Lading, AWBs, Delivery Notes, etc.) in line with regulatory and company requirements.
• Internal Coordination : Collaborate with purchasing, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules and timely vendor payments.
• Purchase Order Oversight : Generate POs, obtain approvals, track vendor confirmations, and follow up on expediting and invoicing.
• Supplier Relationship Management : Support vendor evaluations and contribute to performance reviews to ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
• Reporting & Compliance : Maintain accurate records in SAP, prepare regular reports, and ensure adherence to HSSE procedures and community standards.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify and support initiatives to optimize logistics efficiency and service delivery.
