Production Supervisor Quality Control

Position OverviewThe Quality Control and Production Supervisor for Abayas is responsible for overseeing the production process of abayas and ensuring that each garment meets the company s highquality standards This position combines the supervision of the production team with a strong focus on quality assurance ensuring that the finished products are of superior craftsmanship and align with the brand s specifications and design standards The ideal candidate will have experience in garment manufacturing attention to detail and leadership skills to drive operational efficiency and quality excellence Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Supervision Supervise daily production operations of abayas ensuring adherence to design specifications production schedules and quality standards Coordinate with production staff to optimize workflow manage production timelines and ensure the efficient use of materials and labor Monitor the overall production process identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials such as fabrics trims and accessories to avoid damage and waste Quality Control Inspect raw fabrics embellishments and accessories to ensure they meet quality standards before production Conduct quality checks at various stages of production including cutting sewing and finishing Ensure that all abayas meet design specifications including fit stitching embellishments and overall presentation Identify defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actionsLeadership and Training Train and mentor team members on quality standards sewing techniques and production processes specific to abayas Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement Provide regular feedback to staff and address performance issues when necessary Compliance and Reporting Ensure production operations comply with safety regulations and company policies Maintain accurate records of production output quality inspections and any incidents or defects Collaborate with designers and management to address quality concerns and suggest process improvements Customer and Market Focus Stay updated on market trends customer preferences and cultural requirements related to abayas Ensure products align with brand standards and customer expectations for traditional and contemporary styles Qualifications Proven experience in garment production and quality control preferably with abayas or traditional clothing Strong knowledge of fabrics embroidery embellishment techniques and garment construction Leadership experience in supervising tailoring or garment production teams Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining highquality standards Effective communication and problemsolving skills Proficiency in production tracking tools or relevant software Key Competencies Passion for fashion particularly abayas and modest wear Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced production environment Strong understanding of customer needs and the cultural significance of abayas Creative problemsolving and adaptability to handle production challenges Work Environment Workshop or production floor setting with exposure to sewing machines fabrics and other materials May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of light materials Flexible schedule to meet production deadlines including occasional overtime
