Machine Helper

Responsibilities :

• Attending on-sitesafety meetings.
• Maintaining cleanliness ofwork areas.
• Assisting welders to set up rigsand move them between work areas.
• Ensuringwelders have required materials and tools available, such as rodsand grinding discs.
• Maintaining stock levels ofmaterials and supplies.
• Loading and unloadingtrucks.
• Following welders' instructionsto adjust welding machinetemperatures.
• Employing buffers and grinders toclean welds.
• Maintaining knowledge of varioustypes of metal.
• Operating various tools andtypes of equipment.
• Identifying safety risksand hazards, and complying with relevant safety procedures andregulations.
