Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily store operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly and in accordance with ANTA’s standards and policies.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the store team (sales associates and supervisors) to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards, reflecting ANTA’s brand image and guidelines.
- Oversee inventory management : monitor stock levels, coordinate with the supply chain for replenishment, and conduct regular stock counts to minimize shrinkage.
- Handle all staffing needs, including creating work schedules, training new team members (with support from the Retail Trainer), and conducting performance evaluations.
- Drive customer engagement by being present on the sales floor, assisting customers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every visitor.
- Monitor store performance metrics (sales, conversion rate, average basket size, etc.) and prepare regular sales reports for management, using insights to improve store results.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, as well as health and safety standards and local regulatory requirements within the store.
- Collaborate with the Area Retail Manager to implement store-level strategies, promotions, and initiatives, and provide feedback on product performance and local market trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience).3+ years of experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in the retail industry, preferably in apparel, footwear, or sportswear.Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain a high-performing sales team.Excellent customer service orientation and conflict resolution skills; able to handle customer issues and inquiries professionally and efficiently.Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising principles, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and effectively using retail KPIs to drive business decisions.Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly direct team members and communicate with customers and management.Hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work. Able to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.Self-driven and adaptable, excited to work in a startup setting where building new processes and learning quickly is essential.Preferred Skills
Experience in opening new retail stores or being part of a brand’s market entry is a plus.Familiarity with UAE retail market and local consumer preferences.Proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.Passion for sports or an active lifestyle, with knowledge of sportswear products and trends.Seniority level
