Job Description of HVAC Designer / Senior Designer

We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Designer / Senior Designer to join one of our esteemed clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in HVAC design systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. You will play a pivotal role in project development, ensuring high-performance and sustainable HVAC solutions aligned with client requirements and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities of HVAC Designer / Senior Designer

Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for HVAC systems using AutoCAD, S3D, AVEVA E3D

Draft layouts for chillers, ducts, ventilation, and mechanical rooms

Ensure adherence to SMACNA, ASHRAE, SOLAS and project standards

Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-discipline teams

Qualification Required for HVAC Designer / Senior Designer

BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering

10–15 years of experience in HVAC design / drafting

Advanced knowledge of HVAC layouts and pressure drop calculations

Familiarity with McQuay Duct Sizer, Pipe Sizer, HVAC Charts

Fluent in English
