MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Job Description

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.

Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all facility systems and equipment.

Diagnose faults and oversee repairs of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Maintain records of maintenance and repair work for audits and compliance.

Source and manage contractors and suppliers for specialized repair works.

Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and track expenditures.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety, and environmental standards.

Implement energy-saving and cost-effective maintenance solutions.

Develop SOPs and ensure all team members are trained on maintenance procedures.

Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment.

Prepare reports and present to management regarding maintenance KPIs and issues.

Lead emergency repair efforts in case of equipment breakdown or facility issues.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience : Minimum 5–10 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial / supervisory role in the UAE or GCC.

Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems repair.

Certifications (Preferred) :

• NEBOSH, IOSH, or relevant maritime industry safety certifications.
