Lead Software Engineer-Frontend

Overview

Open Innovation AI is expanding its on-site product engineering team in Abu Dhabi and needs a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer whose primary focus is writing exceptional code. You’ll dive deep into feature development, shape our design system alongside UI / UX designers, and contribute to architectural decisions that power our AI-driven platform. If you thrive on variety, jumping between new feature implementation, design-system work, and refining SDLC processes— this role is built for you.

Responsibilities

• Build and Ship Features : Design, code, test, and deliver complex user-facing features using modern TypeScript and React frameworks.
• Architectural Conversations : Participate in technical design discussions, review proposals, and influence frontend architecture.
• Shape the Design System : Collaborate closely with UI / UX to extend and refine our component library, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance.
• Select Your Work Streams : Rotate across feature work, performance optimizations, tooling improvements, and design-system tasks—picking areas where you add the most value.
• Drive Code Quality : Champion automated testing, CI / CD pipelines, and code-review best practices that keep our release cadence fast and safe.
• Improve Developer Experience : Evaluate new libraries, propose refactors, and introduce tooling that boosts productivity across the frontend guild.
