Develop Supply Chain Strategy

  • Design and implement overarching supply chain strategies to optimize Agro Commodity Sourcing, Indirect Procurement, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning in alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuously assess and adapt strategies based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive pressures.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain sustainability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness across global markets.

Supplier Relationship & Risk Management

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring mutual growth and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate disruptions in supply chains.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor global commodity trends to make proactive adjustments in procurement strategies.

    • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency, cost savings, and service levels.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Create and drive strategies for capacity planning and demand forecasting to ensure alignment with future business growth.

    • Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead the development of a high-performing supply chain team through mentorship, training, and recruitment.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the supply chain function.
  • Promote strategic initiatives that encourage cross-functional teamwork between procurement, logistics, sales, and other departments.

    • Agro Commodity Sourcing

  • Oversee the tactical execution of agro commodity sourcing, ensuring the timely acquisition of raw materials at competitive prices.
  • Execute supplier negotiations and manage contracts to optimize costs and supply continuity.
  • Monitor global commodity markets and adjust sourcing strategies based on price fluctuations, supply availability, and geopolitical factors.

    • Indirect Procurement

  • Manage the procurement of indirect materials and services such as equipment, office supplies, and third-party services, ensuring competitive pricing and contract compliance.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand specific requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of procurement needs.
  • Optimize inventory levels of indirect goods and services while maintaining operational efficiency.

    • Demand Planning

  • Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, sales projections, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production schedules.
  • Regularly update demand forecasts to reflect changes in customer needs, market conditions, and business priorities.

    • Supply Planning

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of supply plans that align with forecasted demand, production schedules, and material availability.
  • Work closely with suppliers, logistics teams, and manufacturing units to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Optimize inventory management practices to balance the cost of carrying inventory with the risk of stockouts or overstocking.

    • Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on sourcing performance, procurement activities, demand planning accuracy, and supply chain metrics to senior management.
  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and enhance operational performance.

    • Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure all sourcing, procurement, and planning activities are compliant with local and international regulations.
  • Promote sustainability within the supply chain by sourcing responsibly, minimizing waste, and working with eco-conscious suppliers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
