Job Overview

Here’s your chance to step into the role of Manager/Senior Manager – Direct Tax at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee calculation, review, and accounting of tax provisions for the Group, ensuring full compliance with accounting, tax standards, and internal policies.
• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax reporting packages for group consolidation and audit purposes.
• Manage corporate tax return filings across all group entities — from planning and coordination to review and submission within deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with direct tax regulations and monitor adherence to transfer pricing policies and documentation (local files, master files, CbCR).
• Conduct intercompany transaction reviews and develop transfer pricing strategies to mitigate risk.
• Coordinate tax audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
• Develop and maintain robust tax risk management frameworks and internal controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process integrity.
• Monitor legislative changes in direct tax and assess their impact on the Group’s operations.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives (ERP tax modules, digital dashboards) to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Collaborate with finance business partners, CFOs, and treasury teams to align tax objectives with overall business goals.
• Define and track KPIs and SLAs to ensure tax reporting accuracy and process effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities and oversee resolution of audit and compliance issues.
• Identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities within tax processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the direct tax team, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric, and service-oriented culture.
• Ensure continuous team development and capability building aligned with DH Group Services Finance priorities.

About you

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional qualification (ATT, CTA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Withholding Tax.
• Understanding of international tax principles and BEPS framework.
• 7+ years’ experience in direct tax compliance, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP tax modules and automation tools; Oracle TRCS experience is a plus.
• Strong strategic orientation, customer focus, and collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrates innovation, process excellence, and a high-performance approach.
