Principal Delivery Manager- Enterprise Data Platforms

Overall objectives

The Principal Delivery Manager for Enterprise Data Platforms is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple data platform initiatives across the organization. This role involves managing project budgets tracking progress across concurrent projects providing regular updates to stakeholders and leading SteerCo meetings. The Delivery Manager will also be accountable for identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure timely and quality delivery of enterprise data solutions.

Role specific responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of enterprise data platform projects ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Oversee and manage project budgets ensuring financial accountability and cost optimization.
• Track progress across multiple concurrent projects ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders including executive summaries and detailed status reports.
• Lead SteerCo (Steering Committee) meetings ensuring effective governance and decision-making.
• Identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including data engineering data platforms architecture governance and business stakeholders.
• Support resource planning and vendor management for project execution.
