SAP ABAP

The primary purpose of this position is to implement, manage, and continuously improve SAP ABAP landscape. The position requires in-depth knowledge of ABAP programming in SAP S / 4HANA.

The role involves using various SAP tools such as enhancements, conversion programs, SAPscript, Smart Forms, LSMW, BDC, BAPI, BSP, Adobe Forms, Workflow, Module Pool, IDOCs, barcodes, web services, and interfaces between SAP and third-party applications.

It includes interacting with support partners to implement changes and improvements across SAP systems and monitoring daily operations.

The candidate will evaluate sub-modules within SAP, implement new enhancements based on business needs, and adopt new technologies to support and improve business processes.

Qualifications Required : BE in Computer Science, B.Tech, or MCA.

Experience Required : 7-8 years, with at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations.

Required Skills :

• SAP S / 4HANA on Cloud ABAP programming tools, including WRICEF and transaction creation.
• User exits, BADI, and enhancements.
• Conversion programs : LSMW, BDC, BAPI.
• SAPscript, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms.
• Web Dynpro, BSP programming.
• Workflow configuration, module pool, barcode programming, ALE / IDOC.
• BTP, ODATA services, Web UI concepts, GENIL / BOL concepts, and order framework.
• Interfaces between SAP and third-party applications.
• Application of OSS notes, SPDD, SPAU, Code Inspector, and other tools.
• Exposure to Java stacks, including SAP NetWeaver and EP technologies, is an advantage.

The candidate will analyze ABAP requirements from functional consultants, monitor system performance, and optimize system performance through indexing and fine-tuning ABAP objects.

This position is responsible for all ABAP developments and WRICEF in SAP S / 4HANA, supporting functional consultants in creating or modifying programs.

The role involves recognizing critical application issues, analyzing data, developing solutions, and providing logical recommendations.

It includes evaluating enhancements, impact analysis, writing reports, documentation, and instructions, and maintaining cooperative relationships with stakeholders.

The candidate will also handle change request creation and follow standard change management processes to ensure smooth production deployment.
