Job Summary : This role involves, providing consultation to management on strategic sourcing plans, talent counselling, rewards, talent development and budget planning.
Responsibilities
- Attract, retain, and achieve a high level of performance from the highest caliber of talent available.
- Designing and developing HR Strategy, budgets, workforce planning, policies and procedures and applying company policies and managing internal HR systems.
- Coaching senior executives
- Leading HR projects like compensation plans revisions.
- Implementing functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations; and
- Overseeing our payroll and performance evaluation systems.
The overall goal of this role is to ensure the HR department operates efficiently and aligns with the company business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Makes organization wide strategy decisions as well as development and operational implementation of policies, processes and programs that ensures appropriate human resource practices and programs.Formally reviews and makes independent decisions on all staffing and resourcing issues relating to portfolio of services under their command.Budget development for all HR related services including organization wide staffing costs.HR project decisions e.g. compensation plan revisions.Strategic staffing plan decisionsTalent Development decisionsKey Accountabilities and Activities
Strategic Development
Review and contribute to Company Group strategic plans by providing advice and recommendations to Heads of Department and C-Suite members.Work closely with Heads of Department, C-Suite members, HR Business Partners, Shared Services to support a forward-facing HR Strategy for Company Group to support Human Capital development.Develop and monitor HR Organization’s business plan in line with the long-term strategy.Establish HR KPIs and Organization scorecard.Develop an HR Business continuity plan to ensure smooth delivery of HR services at all times.Translates Group plans into plans for the HR Department and guides the execution.Leadership and Management
Measure the effectiveness of Company Group benefits programs and recommend improvements.Coordinate employee development initiatives.Drive the change agenda of Company group, as it relates to people and HR processes, and leverage the HR Organization and other Company resources for effective implementation.Communicate HR Business continuity plan and HR policies and procedures to the HR Organization team.Policies, Procedures and Processes
Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are aligned with the Company strategy.Lead the HR programs, initiatives and policies and procedures with HR Leaders and Business Partners.Direct the design and development of, and closely monitor the implementation of HR programs, initiatives and policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures as per local countries regulations.People Management
Plan, manage, and review individual performance and provide regular feedback, development and coaching, taking prompt action where necessary to ensure progressive development and learning opportunities.Establish clear direction, prioritize programs, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the HR Organization.Build opportunities for HR Organization employees to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives.Minimum Requirements
