QA / QC Engineer Role

The QA / QC Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring construction projects comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and approve quality documentation such as material submittals and testing reports.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Identify non-compliance issues and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Audit subcontractors and suppliers for quality compliance.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and quality documentation.
• Generate reports on QA / QC findings and improvement recommendations.
• Update stakeholders on quality performance.
• Train project teams on QA / QC processes.
• Promote a culture of quality through workshops and seminars.
• Stay informed on industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ensure activities meet local, state, and federal requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to address quality issues.
• Participate in project meetings related to QA / QC.
