Bartender (Beach Restaurant) | Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah

As a Bartender at our Beach Restaurant, you will craft exquisite cocktails, serve refreshing beverages, and provide exceptional service to our guests in a luxurious, relaxed, and vibrant beachfront setting. You will ensure an outstanding guest experience through warm hospitality, expert mixology, and seamless operations.

What will I be doing

A Bartender will be responsible for engaging our guests during their visit, receiving / serving orders and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including signature cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in line with the hotel’s standards with precision and creativity.
• Engage with guests in a warm and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the bar menu, ingredients, and pairing suggestions.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization at the bar area at all times.
• Manage bar inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and requisitions are made when necessary, as well as report shortages to management.
• Follow all responsible alcohol service regulations and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with the service and culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
• Keep up with industry trends, seasonal drink offerings, and guest preferences.
• Assist in setting up and closing the bar, ensuring all equipment is properly handled and stored.
• Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry trends and new beverage innovations.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
