Food Production Supervisor

The Food Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process within the pet food industry This position is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing of food production ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are produced efficiently The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities to ensure timely delivery of products Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and improve overall team performance Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and safe production environment Collaborate with the operations manager and senior management to streamline operations Implement and enforce standard operating procedures SOPs for food production Manage the accurate collection of production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes Assist in inventory management and ordering of raw materials as needed Prepare and maintain production reports for management review Address and resolve any production issues or employee concerns promptly Preferred Candidate Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Detailoriented with a focus on quality and safety Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks Proficient in using production management software and tools Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control processes Problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to challenges Flexibility to work various shifts as needed Experience in the pet supplies or food manufacturing industry is a plus Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development Currently based in UAE e g on a valid visit visa
