Key Responsibilities General Bookkeeping Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions including purchases sales receipts and payments ensuring they align with company policies and accounting standards Accounts Payable Receivable Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time and that customer payments are properly recorded Bank Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements with company records identifying and resolving any discrepancies Payroll Assistance Assist in the processing of payroll by preparing payroll information calculating employee wages and ensuring that taxes and deductions are accurately applied Financial Reporting Support Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports by providing necessary information and reconciling accounts Filing and Documentation Organize and maintain financial records ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and accessible for audits or internal reviews Compliance and Accuracy Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax laws and company policies while maintaining data accuracy Supporting Senior Staff Assist senior accountants or finance managers with various accounting tasks including financial analysis and yearend closing activities Requirements Education A minimum of an associates degree in Accounting Finance or a related field A bachelors degree is a plus but not required Experience 13 years of experience in bookkeeping accounting or finance preferably in a junior role or similar capacity Job Types Fulltime Contract
