Role Description
digitalfarm is seeking an experienced Account Director – Social Media to lead client accounts and drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of social-first campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of guiding both clients and internal teams to achieve impactful results across multiple platforms.
As a senior member of the agency, the Account Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth of digitalfarm. You will partner with the leadership team to expand our client portfolio, elevate service delivery, and mentor a high-performing social media team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire social media account teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee client relationships, acting as the key point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Develop and present social media strategies tailored to client objectives.
- Guide the creation and execution of social-first campaigns and content calendars.
- Supervise and approve content, copywriting (English / Arabic), and creative concepts.
- Manage RFP responses, proposals, and client pitches.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions.
- Ensure quality control and consistency across all social media deliverables.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and leadership team on growth initiatives.
- Monitor social team workload, traffic, and overall performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platforms, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
7+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within an agency environment.Proven track record in managing major social accounts and delivering measurable results.Strong background in developing and implementing social media and content strategies.Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills.Solid project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.Proficiency across major social media platforms, analytics, and reporting tools.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Experience in the UAE market preferred.Arabic language skills are highly desirable.Additional Requirements
