Qualifications
EssentialQualifications and Education :
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years in offshore construction, with at least 7 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of EPCI processes
- Relevant certifications in offshore construction and safety management
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of offshore construction techniques and best practices
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments
- Familiarity with international regulations and standards for offshore construction
- Execution knowledge of all phases of offshore construction projects
- International offshore construction experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
- Amenable to frequent travel to offshore sites
- Open to taking on extended assignments in foreign countries

Oversee offshore construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedulesEnforce quality standards and ensure work meets company and industry standardsImplement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnelLead and manage the offshore construction team, including subcontractors and direct labor forceCoordinate the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnelMaintain strong relationships with clients, addressing offshore-related concerns and ensuring satisfactionProvide regular updates to project managers and senior management on offshore project progress, challenges, and solutionsConduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with offshore safety and quality standardsResolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction executionMonitor and control project costs to ensure budget adherenceTrain and mentor junior staff and new hires to ensure high performanceCollaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure seamless offshore project executionEnsure proper documentation and reporting of all offshore construction activitiesFacilitate effective communicationImplement the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) programDirect and control all phases of offshore construction using the construction schedules and estimates for guidanceReview the status of the project with the Construction Manager periodically, and initiate remedial action as requiredMaintain close contact with other functional departments to ensure adequate flow of information and materialsManage subcontractors’ performance and executionHold responsibility for the safety, cost, timing, and quality of work performedOwn and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
