Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills. A leading organisation in the Middle East is hiring an experienced Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Engineer. This role supports workplace safety, compliance, and sustainability efforts across all operations.
Key Purpose
Reporting to the Safety Manager, the OHS Engineer will manage health and safety systems, identify risks, deliver training, and ensure compliance with safety standards and laws.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update OHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with national and internal safety standards.
- Prepare regular reports on safety performance.
- Work with teams to solve complex safety issues.
- Support environmental efforts (waste, energy, water management).
