  • Role responsibilities :
  • The role has 4 direct reports including the internal IT function (IT support for UAE and KSA staff). Develop the team’s competencies and build resilience. Support the Finance team providing day to day assistance as required. Internal and external reporting including monthly and quarterly reporting to the Group. Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, Management reports, KPIs and variance analysis. Experience with understanding and applying accounting guidelines both internally and externally, ideally including experience with IFRS (especially IFRS15).Cash – manage the cash position. Minimize working capital requirementsEnsure revenue recognition is performed in compliance with IFRS 15 and CSI requirements including POC calculations on large complex projectsResponsible for the UAE and KSA Legal entities and all relevant legal requirements including quarterly VAT returns, annual external audit, financial statement preparation and corporation tax returns in liaison with auditors and external accountants
  • Key Competencies
  • Experience in accounting and controlling in a Project-based business ( PoC calculations, Accrued / Deferred Income, Project Margin analysis, Bid Review)Proven experience of designing and implementing new processes and internal controls is essential. Implementation of a new ERP would be desirable Advanced excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Look-up functions and similar is essential for all analysis and reporting duties.Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to and implement change. Experience with NetSuite ERP system - Desirable. Previous experience of working within Software company with strong exposure to revenue recognitionGood communication skills, comfortable interacting with different stakeholders throughout the organisationExcellent presentation and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Strong organisational abilities, experience of working to tight deadlines and a hands-on approach to financeMotivated to continuously improve performance and seek new knowledge : Enjoy continuous learning and knowledge sharing ##
