Job Summary
We are building an integrated B2B marketplace that will transform how SMEs trade, access finance and grow their business, co-created with leading institutions in the UAE. As the Head of Product (Finance), you will lead the design and execution of our embedded finance strategy. You’ll develop and own the roadmap for financing products on the platform, including but not limited to loan aggregation, credit scoring, and digital financing workflows for SMEs. This is an opportunity to shape a high-impact product at day zero, working closely with the founding team and leading institutions in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all financial products on the platform
- Translate lending workflows into intuitive digital experiences for SMEs
- Lead end-to-end delivery in partnership with engineering, design, and third-party vendors
- Build the integration layer between the platform and financial institutions
- Work with credit, risk, legal, and compliance teams to ensure frameworks meet regulatory requirements
- Design modular, scalable systems to support multiple financing partners and products
- Measure and drive product adoption, financing volume, repayment behavior, and unit economics
- Serve as the internal expert on financial user journeys (credit application, scoring, disbursement, repayment)

Request for financing workflow integrated into the buyer experience to help SMEs access creditLoan aggregator infrastructure to match businesses with third-party lendersCredit scoring and decisioning logic using marketplace behavior and external data to assess SME risk profilesDigital onboarding and verification flows for financing applicantsTracking, settlement, and repayment tools for all financing activitiesAPIs and dashboards for lender integrations, performance tracking and compliance visibilitySeamless integration with below but not limited to :
Lenders (banks, NBFCs, fintechs, alternative financiers)Credit bureaus and KYC / AML providersSCV Internal portfolio companiesQualifications
10+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, lendingDemonstrated experience building or scaling financial products — particularly lending, embedded finance, or credit systemsNetwork and experience working with banks, aggregators, or alternative lendersStrong user-centric approach with an ability to simplify complex financial workflowsExperience in the UAE or MENA region and familiarity with regional SME behavior and financial infrastructureAbility to move fast, think strategically, and operate in ambiguityStrong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and platformAbout Standard Chartered
