The Procurement Engineer(MEP) is responsible for strategically managing the procurement and sourcing activities within the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) category. This role involves developing and executing category strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities :

1. Sourcing and Procurement :

• Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers of Mechanical and Electrical items needed for residential, commercial buildings and substations.
• Lead the sourcing and procurement efforts for MEP materials, equipment, and services from locally and internationally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, select appropriate suppliers, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors in the MEP category.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreements and terms.
