Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Engineer with a proven track record in MEP systems and EPC project negotiation . The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the procurement lifecycle right from vendor evaluation to contract finalization, ensuring project timelines, quality, and budget compliance are met.

This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills and deep technical knowledge of MEP packages across large scale EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute procurement strategies specifically for MEP systems and services within EPC projects.
• Prepare RFQs / RFPs, technical and commercial bid evaluations, and manage vendor communications.
• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and market research to optimize procurement spend.
• Lead complex vendor negotiations to ensure favorable pricing, delivery, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and project management teams to ensure procurement aligns with project goals and technical specifications.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor list compliant with quality and safety standards.
• Review and draft purchase orders and subcontracts while ensuring adherence to company policies and project specifications.
• Monitor and track material delivery schedules and resolve potential supply chain bottlenecks proactively.
• Participate in project progress meetings, reporting on procurement activities, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure full compliance with local and international procurement laws and regulations.
