MACHINE SHOP SUPERVISOR

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee our machine shop operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of machinists, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strong background in machining processes and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the machine shop and ensure production targets are met.
• Manage and lead a team of machinists and operators, providing training and guidance as necessary.
• Develop and implement production schedules and workflow plans to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications are met.
• Manage inventory of materials and tools, ordering supplies as needed to maintain production levels.
