Overview
As the first point of contact, the Hostess plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience. Responsible for managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest relations, the Hostess represents the brand values of RIKAS Hospitality Group with elegance, warmth, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with a smile and a warm, festive welcome.
- Manage the reservation system and coordinate table assignments efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and keep guests informed of wait times.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and introducing them to their server when appropriate.
- Handle guest inquiries, accommodate special requests, and manage difficult situations gracefully.
- Support the overall ambiance of the restaurant with a positive and engaging presence.
- Ensure the entrance, host stand, and front-of-house areas remain clean and organized.
- Collaborate with the service team to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Upsell special events, menu highlights, or promotions in line with the restaurant’s festive theme.
Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Hostess in a premium or fine-dining environment is preferred.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.Polished appearance and professional presentation.Friendly, confident, and service-oriented attitude.Proficiency in English is essential; other languages are a plus.Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable) is an advantage.Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.About RIKAS Hospitality Group
