Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional service
- Ensure to possess a high standard of personal appearance and grooming at all times
- Collaborate well with other team members working other functions of the restaurant
- Manage the hostess stand and keep the area neat, clean and tidy at all times
- Make and review reservations on the table management software and make necessary improvements for the table layouts, timings of bookings where deemed necessary
- Establish a rapport with guests, providing guest recognition and good customer relationships
- Ensure buffet tags are made complying with the standards when required in the outlet
- Maintain the upkeep of all restaurant menus
- Ensure proper communication with regards to the updated information on the outlet’s notice boards
- Assist and collaborate with the team of servers during the service whenever there is a need to provide support at any time
- Maintaining welcoming and service efficient environment
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, ingredients and information for the restaurant and resort
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Outlet Manager, Director of Food and Beverage
Qualifications & Experience
1-2 years’ previous experience as a hostess in a luxury resort / hotel / upscale restaurant or similar hospitality environmentCollege education or equivalent experiencePrevious employment experience in a similar position will be advantageousRequires the ability to operate computer equipment / familiar with systems and table management softwareFluent in English, Russian is an advantageExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to adapt and be a team player#J-18808-Ljbffr
