Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance within the school. The role involves maintaining computer systems, networks, and educational technology tools, ensuring smooth daily operations for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide first-line technical support to teachers, staff, and students for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, projectors, smart boards, and other IT equipment.
Support school management systems, e-learning platforms, and classroom technology.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, email accounts, and user access problems.
Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with IT policies.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage repairs / upgrades.
Assist in setting up devices and AV systems for classrooms, events, and exams.
Liaise with external vendors for IT support and procurement when necessary.
Train and guide staff and students on basic IT usage and best practices.
Document IT incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities
Requirements
Requirements :
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in IT support, preferably in an educational environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows / Mac OS, networking, MS Office, and common educational platforms.
Familiarity with classroom technologies such as interactive whiteboards, projectors, and LMS.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and provide timely solutions.
Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
